This course allows students to create their own mobile apps using MIT App Inventor. They’ll explore App Inventor programming skills and knowledge by completing various tasks with MIT App Inventor and App Inventor UI. Throughout the course, students can improve their user interface design skills and train their problem-solving and logic thinking skills.
Learning Objectives:
- Develop foundational App Inventor programming skills while creating interactive applications
- Enhance their user interface design abilities and learn to implement logic through hands-on projects
- Gain an understanding of AI concepts and how to integrate various features, such as sensors and text-to-speech, into their apps.

- Introduction to App Inventor | Create and display label in different format
- PaintPot | Use sensors and buttons in App Inventor
- Mirror on the phone | Create an app with text to speech AI
- Mini Golf | Learn how to display and customise image
- Space Invader | Create a game using app inventor

- App Inventor Companion App (Android phone / tablet)
