Participants will engage with technologies such as micro:bit coding and create hovercrafts for real-time remote control competitions. Teams will navigate challenges, avoiding obstacles to cross the finish line swiftly. Emphasize collaboration and strategic thinking while providing a foundation in STEM applications.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the principle of the hovercraft and the related coding skills through micro:bit
- Assemble and improve a hovercraft design that run faster and stabler
- Use micro:bit to control the hovercraft, pass through obstacles, and complete the race as fast as you can!

- Setup
- Introduce the physics behind the hover:bit and briefing instructions
- Assemble the hover:bit
- Test out the hover:bit

- Una Virtual Classroom - Intermediate / Microsoft MakeCode

- Hover:bit set x 1
- Competition component x1
- Supporting materials, e.g.
- Hot glue gun with glue stick
- A4 Paper
- Cutter and cutting board
- Safety work gloves
- Scissors
- Ballpen or pencil
- Marker pen
- Tablet / Notebook / Computer
